The Al Raya Newspaper reported on 26 June 2024 that Qatar is set to host the 10-Ball Billiards World Cup for 5 years, from 2024 to 2028.

The first edition will take place from 5 to 14 December 2024.

The announcement came at a press conference held on 26 June 2024 by the Qatar Billiards Sports Federation, World Pool Association & Ministry of Sports & Youth.
