Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) has brought back its annual early winter activities for community members of all ages to Aspire Park, where thousands of young sports enthusiasts and family members flock on a regular basis to enjoy the greenery, vast spaces and to spend quality time with family and friends.
Whilst many ofAspire Zone’s world-class facilities, which include a 2-6km running track in Aspire Park, the Aspire Lake, outdoor football pitches and professional race track, are already accessible to the public, people can also benefit from several other pursuits in Aspire that are available for several months this winter.
The “Cycle in Aspire” rent-a-bike scheme is once again available for community members of all ages. Cycling enthusiasts can rent bikes from the Aspire tent in Aspire Park, behind the big screen and opposite the children’s playground for QR20 for the first hour, and QR15 for each additional hour, from 4:00pm to 10:00pm seven days a week.
Water lovers can also rent paddle boats which are available for QR20 per 15 minutes in the Aspire Lake. Local community members can access paddle boats from the Aspire Lake’s marinaeveryday from 3:30pm until 9:00pm.
As created a custom-made track especially designed for remote-control car racing, for the benefit of car-lovers across Doha. Interested motorsport enthusiasts can rent their race car opposite the Aspire Academy. Access to the course costs QR 25 from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Update on outdoor and indoor football pitch access:
Football enthusiasts can rent a selection of Aspire Zone’s world-class outdoor pitches (numbers 10, 11 and 12) from Sundays to Thursdays from 6pm-11pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays from 7am-11pm for QR 900 per hour.
Aspire Zone’s five-a-side football outdoor pitches opposite Al Waab street are also available everyday from 7:00 am until 11:00 pm for QR 200 per hour.
Interested members can book these pitches through Aspire Zone’s official website at http://booking.aspirelogistics.qa. Online credit card payments are accepted. Otherwise, payments can be made to the Aspire Park management team at Hessa Villas Complex.
