The next time you book a ride through Mowasalat’s Karwa taxi service you may notice that you’re shelling out a few extra riyals for the ride. This is because Karwa has recently restructured its tariff fares to include an increase in price in certain services, as illustrated in the table below.

Standard fares per kilometre for day-time and night-time rates inside the Doha city limits have increased by 40 and 10 dirhams respectively. While similar standard fares per kilometre outside the Doha city limits have risen by 10 dirhams.

While telephone booking charges have gone up by 1 riyal, there are also two new extra tariffs implemented – an 8-riyal telephone booking charge from the city to the airport, and a 1-riyal technology service charge.
