The Torch Doha

The building, originally a hotel also known as Aspire Tower, stands tall at 300 meters and overlooks the Aspire Zone complex. It features a revolving restaurant with 360° panoramic views.

Fun Fact: The tower is shaped like a colossal torch and was built to hold the symbolic flame of the 15th Asian Games in 2006. To this day, it still holds the record for the highest positioning of a game flame.

Another iconic landmark at West Bay is the Twin Towers in the Palm Towers Complex. The hexagonal building features glass box-like protrusions along the sides, recreating a palm tree in glass. This 57-floor structure houses Qatar Gas and many other corporates.

This 50-story building is a prominent structure that is great to look at during the day and lights up at night in blue. It comprises a podium, a high-rise building, and a low-rise building.

Burj Doha

The tower's cladding imitates the Islamic mashrabiya, or screen, used for dividing a room. Also known as Doha Tower, it is designed to resemble the traditional mud and clay bird towers that still exist in parts of Qatar.

Fun Fact: The award-winning tower was designed by the French architect Jean Nouvel, renowned for his work in the National Museum of Qatar. During the day, it appears gray, and at night, it is lit orange.

Lusail Towers

A set of four tower plazas with two buildings standing tall at 301 meters and the other two at 215 meters. They were one of the main attractions during the FIFA World Cup held in Qatar in 2022, as many celebrations and events were held during the global sporting event.

Ooredoo Towers

Making it to the list of one of the tallest buildings in Qatar, this tower has been one of the iconic towers since 2004. It houses the leading telecom headquarters, which has 29 floors in total.

Fun Fact: The lighting system equipped in the tower changes its color based on the air quality index.

Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay
