Qatar National Library is hosting its annual Summer Reading Challenge for 2024 in collaboration with Kutubee Interactive Reading Platform.

This challenge aims to motivate children to read, maintain their language skills, expand their understanding, and enhance their critical thinking skills during the summer break.

The event will be held online via the Kutubee Platform.

The targeted age group is 6 to 14 years, divided into 3 categories:

• Category 1: 6 to 9 years
• Category 2: 10 to 12 years
• Category 3: 13 to 14 years

Terms and conditions:

• You can read your favorite books on Kutubee in Arabic, English or in both.
• In order for you to be shortlisted for a prize, you should read:
  • At least 40 books from your level and up (if you are 6 to 9 years old)
  • At least 30 books from your level and up (if you are 10 to 12 years old)
  • At least 20 books from your level and up (if you are 13 to 14 years old)
  • Books should be fully read or listened to, and the quiz must be answered.
• Winners will be announced towards the end of August 2024.
