My best friend is from Philipines ^_^

well im sorry to hear about that amnesia. most of the time those kind of people you meet from our country, are rude /unethical due to the following reasons:

1. Problems back home, family and financial turmoils mostly
2. Homesickness, and hatred or angst against perhaps people who maybe harrass them
3. Some people maybe conceited, as you know for most people back home, being abroad is a privilege, they feel like they are some kind of monarchs or royalty (as far as their friends and family back home is concerned), so it shows on their attitude abroad.
4. Conceitedness. There is a stereotype in the philippines saying "nakatikim lang ng konting pera, kala mo na kung sino". It means, "just tasted the benefit of a bit more money, and they think they are already above everyone else". Sad but true for some, and they even do that to their own kinsmen. In my number of years in the middle east, i always encounter those types.
5. Maybe she just had her period
6. Or maybe thats just her, period, everywhere she goes, all time anytime.

but i do hope it doesnt generalize your thought. if ever you encounter people like that, just thing of those 6 factors above, and i do hope and i mean it, i do hope its not #4 all the time

hmm, dress modestly, (compared to the rest of the year), don't eat in public, and be extra polite

Ramadan is about being pure. So that means no bad words, no bad thoughts, no sexual things, etc...

Not to nitpick or anything, but it's "Filipino", NOT "Philipino". Making it double "P" (Philippino) does not make it correct either.

It's a common mistake amongst foreigners/expats in Doha which actually surprised me at first.

However, I've already grown accustomed to being called a "Philipini/filipini" instead of Filipino. Find it rather cute. Guess it's an Arabic term.
