Dear Volunteers,

As we all must be knowing about our recent "Cool Water" campaign held a couple of weeks back, we have a new mission before you. The "Heat Wave Awareness" Campaign. You will be glad to know this time we have the Qatar Red Crescent Society behind us or rather working hand in hand to make this mission a success.

All details and discussions about the campaign will be done on the above mentioned thread.

So then what the heck is this thread about? This thread is only for those that wish to participate as volunteers for the campaign. Since i have been given the very delightful task of being "Volunteers Coordinator"

What i will be doing for this campaign is simple. Rounding up some good kindhearted folks that are willing to sacrifice a little time off their weekends to serve our less fortunate brothers from the unbearable heat....WITH A SMILE.

Since we are working hand in hand with QRC, I'd like to make a list of actual volunteers that will show up and give us your commitment through out the entire campaign. I'm making a list and checking it twice.

3) Email address (mention email if you'd like to receive updates through emails)
4) Organization/Company/Group (if you are a company or belong to any other organization/Group)

I will be compiling a database of all active volunteers from QL, ILQ and any other organization.

I'd also appreciate if each volunteer can gather at least another 5 to 10 friends, family, colleagues etc to participate and send me their details as well.

Finally, I convinced my supervisor not to work OT on saturday and I explain the reason and he accepted, so count me in smoke including my sister, niece and a friend (3 persons). just sent you an email our complete names. HPT

Was there a 3rd COOL Campaign? How about having a 4th one? I would love to join and volunteer. I'm sure some of my buddies would support also. I think early planning will contribute a lot in making such campaigns better. Hope to hear from the organizers soon!
