Ever since that original news article (at the bottom of this thread) started making the rounds I was hearing stupid conspiracy theories. My favourite was, "It's Djin coming as a sign of judgement day to make us pay for our sins, but the media wants to trick us into thinking it's an alien!". Well some people just had to search around to see what else they could find.

I could write up a long article on what 'probably happened' but I'll leave it all up to YOU to decide. Special thanks goes out to Salman!

Yet another coup for our esteemed press How anti climatic, I thought it was an alien visiting Qatar to:

- Find a job because of the dire economic situation in Alpha Centauri
- Jog on the Corniche because the scenery when jogging on the moon is so monotonous
- or it got confused by the "out of this world" architecture and thought Qatar was its home

Funny thing Amnesia is that I remember you saying that it is a toy/action figure from when you first saw the article.

Hah...now you're telling me...then tell me this...a day before this thingy was found...I had, and this is true...a wiggling tail spurting blood on the floor next to my kitchen.....where did THAT come from then?




seriously...I found a 10 cm long and about 1 cm in diameter wiggling , blood spurting tail in my house...with no body attached to it.......is that something that occurs in doha?

Lizard? (Gecko) they are in Qatar (and are handy because they keep away insects and keep to themselves), but they do lose their tails since they're so fragile.

(It's a self defence mechanism and they literally drop their tail)

Amnesia...i know that...but a. that must have been one big lizzard, and b. why did he feel threatened? it was all quiet in the house.....plus, if they drop the tail, it usually does not spurt blood, does it?
