The 2017 Pinoy Battle of the Bands is organized to promote and showcase the talents/artists from the Filipino community residing in Doha. The event includes a fashion show, art bazaar, and food market.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to the assistance drive for the rehabilitation of Marawi City launched by the United Filipino Organizations in Qatar (UFOQ). Also, the event is in support to UFOQ's Send Someone Home Program benefitting distressed OFWs.
