It is mandatory for individuals to present the health status of the Ehteraz app when entering public and private healthcare facilities in Qatar.

Citizens and residents are also no longer required to take a PCR test or RAT within 24 hours following arrival in Qatar.

Masks are not required in public transportation. It will only be mandatory in health facilities and for customer-facing work roles.

These changes will take effect from Sunday, 4 September 2022 starting at 6 pm at the time of arrival in the State of Qatar.

Students, teachers and administrators, in all kindergartens, as well as public and private schools, are no longer required to wear the face mask.

People of Qatar no longer need to wear masks in closed public spaces except for health facilities and public transportation.

There are currently 6,869 active cases in the country as of 17 July 2022.

Kids will participate in a fun craft activity and learn more about museum objects and they will also share some top tips on how to save our planet.

The Ministry stressed the need for all members of the community to follow the new precautionary measures against the COVID-19 epidemic.

Qatar is experiencing a spike in cases as restrictions have begun to ease and the public is advised to wear masks in crowded and closed places.
